Health experts say chronic venous insufficiency is the most common vascular disease in the country. What is it?

The White House released a memo from Trump's physician on Thursday which revealed the president was diagnosed with CVI after he noticed swelling in his legs.

Chronic venous insufficiency, or CVI, happens when veins in the legs can’t properly carry blood back to the heart. That can lead to blood pooling in the lower legs.
