After Joey Bosa missed almost all of the spring with a sore calf, offensive lineman Sedrick Van Pran-Granger has been sidelined at the start of camp with a calf injury, and now linebacker Dorian Williams is down with that same ailment.

But early in the Buffalo Bills' training camp practice Friday on the campus of St. John Fisher University, star running back James Cook lined up near the sideline for a pass thrown by a coach. Sneaking in from behind, unnoticed by Cook, was MVP quarterback Josh Allen.

Buffalo Bills first-round rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston was the subject of a civil lawsuit in early July on behalf of a woman accusing him of sexual assault in 2021. The lawsuit was filed in Lexington, Kentucky. Hairston was drafted by Buffalo out of the University of Kentucky. Hairston addressed it this week during Bills training camp.

The Buffalo Bills made a big splash when they signed Joey Bosa, but his health is always a red flag. Defensive coordinator Bobby Babich revealed they plan to manage his reps accordingly.

The first day of Bills training camp also saw CB Christian Benford's strong day and an injury concern along the offensive line.
