As the MLB trade deadline approaches, the Arizona Diamondbacks could have interest in two of their veteran starting pitchers.

Houston handed a 3-1 lead to Bennett Sousa in the eighth. Arizona greeted the left-hander with three straight hits. Geraldo Perdomo doubled. Ketel Marte's single sent him to third. Corbin Carroll pulled a double to right field, halving the deficit. Marte was held at third base.
