Hundreds of "Hands Off" protests were held around the country on Saturday, April 5, including protests in Chicago, dozens of suburbs, and across the state of Illinois.

Demonstrators packed the streets in cities and towns to rail against government cutbacks, financial turmoil and what they viewed as attacks on democracy.

Indivisible Pittsburgh and a coalition of grassroot partners joined a national mass activation called Hands Off with a demonstration downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday. The group said that President Trump and Elon Musk are “gutting services,

"The fight for democracy is not a left versus right issue," one organizer said. "It's an up versus down issue."

In Statesboro Saturday, protestors took to the streets to take part in the national ‘Hands Off Rally’. Organizers were happy to see how many people wanted their message heard and how well-received their efforts were today.
