Hendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman has shouldered the blame after losing the win to his teammate Kyle Larson during the NASCAR Cup Series race at Homestead-Miami. Bowman secured the lead after passing Bubba Wallace, but a costly error on his part helped Larson capitalize and win the race.

Alex Bowman had the lead in the waning moments of Sunday‘s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. But one errant move allowed his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson to power past him for the win instead.

Bowman would end up finishing second to Larson, followed by Bubba Wallace -- who led 56 laps including much of the last 100 -- Chase Briscoe and Denny Hamlin. Rounding out the top 10 were Chris Buescher, A.J. Allmendinger, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Preece and Justin Haley.
