Bloodlines, Final Destination
Digest more
The first movie came out way back in 2000, and followed Devon Sawa’s character, Alex, after he had a premonition that the plane he and his classmates were on was going to explode — leading to a bunch of them to get off the plane and suffer grisly deaths after the plane did, indeed, kill everybody who had remained on board.
Final Destination Bloodlines continues to strangle death's path. So, death can't strangle human lives. Tony Todd, in his posthumous appearance as William Bludworth, was there for his final cut.
Todd, who died in 2024, earns a graceful exit in the movie, the rare "Final Destination" character afforded the chance to walk off into the sunset. In a universe where characters have to constantly fear that their every movement could trigger an event that leads to their end, it's fitting that he gets to live. Maybe he was an angel all along.
